    Does anyone know if you started creating a map in the "old version" of the game...is it possible to open the map and continue working on it with the new expansion so you can get dungeoun in the map as well as the new editor buildings etc.???? or does the map crash like it did in H5 game when you had an old map and started with the new stronghold expansion??

    Huh? I bought the shades of darkness version as a dvd retail version. There is no file by that name. Is the map editor somehow to find at Steam?

    Editing scenarios by Ubisoft

    Hard difficulty, but in two of three games my army quickly reaches a point where it cannot be harmed by neutral creatures.
    Since there is almost any map in the www good enough to be customized, i searched for a way to change maps made by Ubisoft for my purpose. (Some minor changes and of course to strengthen the army power of neutral creatures)
    I wasn't able to find any "xxx.scn" -file in the C\...\Might and Magic Heroes VI \ folder so i seek answers for the reason of Ubisoft rejecting what was allowed in former HOMM games.

    Just like to say that if I knew that M&MVI didn't have a Random Map Generator, I would have never bought it off steam. Even for the discounted price I got it for. For a game of this type to not have a RMG is criminal. What a let down.

    Someone here know how to change the type of objects in the editor. Between buildings, ground units, objects...
    There are some heroes used in cutscenes that are classified as object but I need them as ground units.
    It makes a great difference when I lock the selection to ground units only

    How is it possible to open the DLC maps in the Scenario Editor? An error message ("Can't open official DLC maps!") comes out instead of the opening. (I have original game).
