You cannot make a bridge that a hero can travel both on and under. This is because a bridge is actually made of terrain. The basic implementation involves 1.sculpting the terrain to the level that the hero should walk on 2.placing objects to cover the terrain (so that it appears that your hero is walking on the object instead of the bridge) 3. Use the "square visibility" tool to hide the terrain. You will need to perform graphical tweaks to hide any visual artefacts that may arise from the whole process.
So in reality it is only a trick, an illusion. You cannot actually place an object to function fully as a bridge.

I'm a great fan of the serie since heroes3, but nowadays I use the editor to create maps to play D&D rpg. We put a led tv horizontally on the table as a dynamic battlefield. So, the most important is just the visual and sound.
Someone here know how to edit the objects of the game, or to import others? I need to edit only the visual, even substitute an existing one would help.
We use the units of the game as virtual miniatures, so I'd like to edit some animations sequence to use a combat animation on the editing map.
I know that it sound out of context, but we consider the HOMM editor the best one to do that, better than King's bounty, Dragon age and even UDK.
If someone here could help I'll be really thankful!
I can't even take off the damn effect around the unit that represents the faction and the color of the player. How I do that?
Thanks!
That's... GENIUS.Originally Posted by easjun Go to original post
Not being sarcastic here, that's actually a really nice way of creating these kinds of maps.
thanks
It's really incredible when we play on a tv. We were used to play on paper tiles.
Initially we played with real miniatures over the tv, but it has many limitations.
Afterall, how can I put some rain in my maps? It's possible?
Someone here know how to use the Environment Panel? All the functions are disabled.
The effects shown there are exactly what I need. would be perfect if worked.
Sorry for my english.
