Certainly saving this link. Funny stuf. Good thing I have a girl that understands that video games are not the devil. I even got her playing AC:B.

I agree with your post strongly, but tbh, the girls get flakked too, which is over the top stupid. I'm a guy, yes, but my girl and I play video games all the time, from Brotherhood to Borderlands to WoW, we play a lot. Honestly, gamer girls are better than normal girls, they have an imagination (something magazines don't use a lot of), they are open to talking because they see the importance of relaying information (story arcs and fantasy games), and they at least bother to try things you like to because hey, if video games are cool and guys like it, why not something like football or text roleplaying (games have variety, there is always something new). I trust my girl with everything and we have been together for 4 years, and I plan to marry her. I have dealt with tons of "basic" girls, and most of them all go silent when video games are talked about. Its all drama, music, facebook, or hearing each other breath, with maybe some extras thrown in, and to them, any odd ideas I ever have are highly taboo and should not be tested (like food, exercises, random stuff), but to my girl, she adds on to any odd ideas I have. That imagination adds a lot, and to be honest, guys who see a girl play games are normally like "oh, she's either a lez or she is just to much of a tomboy, friend at best". But dude, seriously, don't think that, I mean really, how much better does it sound to run into a battlefield on a game knowing you have your gf at your side taking out targets while you take fire or vice versa. At least you can trust them. Just saying, don't down them, they are AMAZING!!! Oh, and just another part, Imagination effects other aspects if you get what I'm saying.

Not to mention that gamers normally don't get phased by ******s or ******. A couple online game sessions gets you used to it. And we don't get easily ****ed off.
