I doubt they are going to do much about this, as it appears it was done on purpose. All the of reference to DD have be removed from the box and or manual, and Blu Ray. To this implies intent. What ever the reason DD is not supported on the PS3 version, I have a feeling thats the way its going to stay.
After doing some investigating, I found this

So they did have plans for DD and DTS with move support all removed at the 11th hour for god knows why? They went to the trouble of removing all that and changing the cover, we are not going to get back the good sound, I would have loved DTS and Move support.
Thanks for the response, I tried every possible way to get the encoding to come through, HDMI And Optical. It's just not there, if you look at my link you see the original Box art. For the retail release in the US and Europe all DD, DTS And move support detail has been removed from the box. No mention of any audio codec is displayed not even Dolby Prologic II.
Here is the box as it is now, missing everything.

Yeah I'm not very happy about it, If I had known I would have bought the 360 version for sure. Not having 5.1 to me is a big deal, especially having listened to the difference. I feel I got cheated by buying the PS3 version.Originally posted by ikcizokm:
This is ridiculous. I literally JUST opened my PS3 copy and came online to gripe about the bogus registration URL in the manual (it doesn't exist!), and I saw this. How disappointing.
Ubisoft needs to patch the game to fix this, or risk a Class Action Lawsuit for false advertising.
