Fultronic, Okia: case proved @ $37.00 for the most expensive unit
Antec, Enermax, OCZ, Tagan are all good names I believe. Someone will give you more specific details I expect - and it would be cool if you could give the specs of the rig you are wanting to power.
Personally I'm running an Enermax 465 since I added a powered graphics card about 3 years ago. No problems encountered. It depends on how many powered items like hard drives, fans, optical drives you have altogether.
I suggest you err on the side of caution - it's worth the extra outlay.

I had an antec go bad, and it went incrementaly, hard to diagnose. it was not enough watts to beginwith, back with new antec, more power, 350, got lucky, nothing else went bad.

sakai2005 take Coastie's advice but don't be afraid of Antec or Enermax. Newegg has hundreds of power supplies to pick from and most have many user comments to help. If you buy from a local vendor a rule of thumb on power supplies is that if the power supply feels light don't get it. Good quality power supplies are heavy. Also take in consideration what is the quality of the electricity that enters your home. I live in the sticks and brown outs are common here thus my gaming machine is attached to a UPS with line filtering to clean up the power before it even gets to the power supply.
