Actually the japanese coast guard was not attacked but did attack a North Korean fishing trawler as it refused to let itself be boarded for a inspection.
The reason was obvious : It was a spy-ship.
As you can see in the video they were armed with assault rifles and at least one RPG launcher. On the other hand, the fishes are arming up too so it might have been a measure of self-defense.
As being a columnist for the North Korean patriotic newspaper "Choson Sinbo" (printed in Japan BTW) Celeon condemned this imperialist terror attack against a unarmed civilian fishing ship.
