    Hi Elle
Have you thought of a windows emulation program? In my Mac days, you could emulate Windows on the Mac OS and run most if not all PC programs. Games are the most problematic due to driver problems, but you could look into that.

    hi elle

like coops said...u can either install windows on your mac aswell....and just boot in windows when u want to play....or im pretty sure u can install a program called "crossover" which allows you to use windows programs

and nah i pop by here every now n then just to see if anything is happening

Coops,I thought you would be more enthusiastic than that to hear from me!! Remember I was never a tech wiz so explain Windows emulation to me pleeease! xxx Oh and hi porky! Where would I get the programme to install Windows and would it interfere with the mac in a negative way at all? x

The program to install windows is... well, windows. You have to buy it.

Dunno if windows XP is sold any more, but either that or win7 is my recommendation if you go the windows way.

Shouldn't interfere with the mac if done correctly. It's an advantage if you can install them on separate partions (parts of the hard drive, ask if you don't know how to do that).

An emulation basically makes the computer think it's something else. Uh, weird explanation. Well, let's say you want to play some old play station 1 game on your PC, then you'd download an emulator which would give the PC the instructions on how to parse the play station code.
    Hope that's a little understandable anyway :X
actually don't know very well myself.

Any luck on the mac forums?
