Recently lost my favourite skipper: Kapitan z. See Cajus Sturmer (Knights Cross with Swords). U-142 (type llD), 11 patrols, 115,000 tons and a veteran crew.

Made the mistake of saving after being depth-charged to destruction off Dunkirk on 1st June, 1940. When I tried to re-load his career the next day, SH3 Commander had greyed-out the start button!

Pity, I was looking forward to re-locating to Brest during the next patrol and upgrading to a type VII. My crew were almost maxed-out on experience and medals and didn't need much babysitting. AND it was Polish-flagged V&W DD as well! Oh, the shame of it all...
