Good memory- I spoke too soon. The fuselage fit is very good, and the wings themselves fit nicely, but the wing root join is going to be a problem, at the leading edge.

    No rose without a thorn!

Last gluing done. Discovered ribs on fuselage hugely overdone, but its too late now. Wait 24 to let glue set and lock and load the old faithful Iwata.

    Tankmeisters:

Any of you know of an excellent source with phots of Kampfgruppe Peiper's Panther tanks in the Ardennes battle? I have a friend who wants me to do a KGP Panther for him.

Zaloga's 'Panther Vs Sherman Battle of the Bulge 1944' (Osprey) looks like it would fit the bill, Herr Leitmeister.

Hi guys! Just stopping by to ask a question for you experts, though I watch this thread with great interests regulary

I received this Hasegawa kit as a gift from a friend:

Now, I made some revell kits years ago so this kit would spice up my ETO collection with this lovely PTO craft and return me back to action.

What I'd like to ask is - wich colours should I use? I got old revell colors but seems like none of them can match to Hasegawa kit. Must I buy a hasegawa colours (if they have their own collection)?

Hello Mr Jure! There's no obligation whatsoever to use a manufacturer's recommended paints. Here's a chart for matching up Japanese paints - mainly to Humbrol, it must be admitted. Hope it helps.

Lost many an Osprey myself over the years.

Well... thanks to a booze-fuelled romp through the town today, I find myself about to embark on a 12/13 figure diorama involving the Waffen SS and a pig in a sidecar. Now I ask you - could I make that one up?
