OK! Here is the I-185 wearing clothing as the Curtis P-60C.
I added zincromite green per most American aircraft have and Dark Duraluminum panels as well.

I'll release this as is tonight Pacific time at Flying Legends.

I think your right. However, I'm also confused about this issue myself. Case in point: In the book AMERICAN EAGLES, P-47 Thunderbolt Units of the Eighth Airforce by Rodger Freeman, there are numerous photos that show the Stars N Bars as I have despicted. However (and you knew this was gonna happen!) they also show the Stars N Bars As you suggested! I really did not think too much about this until yesterday.
Anyone got the skinny on why some P-47s have the Stars N Bars on the oppsite side?

Thanks for the heads up Jesters.

I'll release the same skin with the Stars N Bars Switch-a-roo Saturday.

Getting a picture from its negative the person developing it could by mistake develope a "mirror" image when he has the negative the wrong way. You can sometimes even see this when looking at a 40's film.
When suspecting something like this I always check for a number on the plane (tailnumber) to see if the picture has been "mirrored".

Ops, just noticed this little problem myself, LOL

    Where was I looking? (ashamed)

Normally the US National Insigna goes on Upper Left wing and Under Right wing.

In Europe the 8th AF issued an order that all P-47 in strenght had to be painted with an additional star 'n bars UNDER the LEFT wing to prevent trigger-happy friendly AAA crews to fire on them, as the big radial engine made the Thud resembling to a Fw 190.

Jadehawk, if for you not a problem, can you please correct the markings position on the altought wonderfully done skin?
    Thank you...

I have a book on Spitfires that has a really great photograph (full colour) with its ID letters and AC code mirrored. All good fun. Bottom line, trust nothing lol.

Howdy Fellas! Yes I was very much aware of Photos being flipped in publications. But I made pretty dang sure they were not before using as a reference.

Anyhow, I released an updated version with the correct Location for the Stars N Bars.

So once agaihn Col. King, have at it!
