that was my second Kongo class I nailed that battle. i then crash dived because a DD started bouncing my sub around. the depth charges missed (which was lucky, he was on top of me) but I ended up slightly worse off than I expected. still, I had a chance to tell Admiral Kurita his battleship didn't look so good last time I saw it. alternatively, it gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "follow them until they are on the bottom"

i was still in the process of a full-power crash dive, so I shook him off about 250 feet down.

OUCH! that actually looks worse than mine, I don't recall being at that angle!! enough to make the cook order a new set of pots and pans I say!

the game doesn't model damage due to ramming... I suffered none. not even a broken scope, so neither should Jar III despite the funny angle his sub got bumped to

Ya I didnt get damaged from that... should have though... only thing I really worried about is getting dragged down below crush depth!!!

Thats pretty scary stuff being dragged down, too bad it's only happened in SH3, i got dragged down below crush depth by a battleship that capsized and sunk right when i was under it!
