your reply proves what an i.p. check no longer needs to do. you are a single sad person that is trolling HARD.

too bad for you patches and updates are quicker than your wit.

I suspect within a few weeks this game will be out of the park amazing and you will be crying in your troll soup.

really i.p. address wouldn't be much help and libaries internet cafes schools 5 to 20 computers If ubisoft stood behind there products it would of been released with everyone else and a warning that all update patches will be coming forth..not send us your money and we'll get back to you..as for you i have no idea why you would be riding on someones coattails However Yes the game is amazing its even better when you go to the store and buy it off the shelf and its in your hand ..when all others say its not for sale yet last time i looked a troll is the one that adds to someones comments no? enyjoy the forums RedDe>a<th

broken rubbish with non existent support
I can understand the opinion that it's broken, but non existent support?! It's had four patches already and hasn't been out four weeks, hell it's had four patches and is not even out in the US yet. Support is rocking, the last patch has made a big difference and the game is running great for me. Still has some bugs that need fixed, but it's very playable now, and fun as hell. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I took you up on that today. Haven't played since release, cuz obviously I decided to wait for patch-o-rama after the initial stutt-o-rama, and lo and behold it's very playable and nice now! It truly is a great gaming experience this one, can't wait to fly missions on it with the squad.

Hi, what is actually the status of the game atm? I heard it was a good game but plagued by performance issues rather than bad design implementation or choices. We are now patch 4?, what remains as the major gripes? -pls no fanboy/troll rants.

Well, a few things, I'm not aware of all of them because some have to do with things I don't do in the game (mission building, level bombing, etc.). There is still some performance optimization to do, there are still some graphical bugs (strange shadow behavior at certain viewing angles etc.) some features are there but not working (AA, some multi-player stuff). There's a few big ones, but nothing that ruins it for me. There are a ton of little ones, like this gauge here has this issue, there's a road in this town that goes through houses or off a cliff, some planes will have part floating in the air when damaged a specific way. All in all, this last official patch and the current beta patch have pushed the game over the edge into definite "recommend" territory for me. I say go ahead and get it now, it's got a lot of room to improve, but it's totally playable and I'm having too much fun with it!

Gotta love it few weeks? and the day after your post UBIsoft kicked it to may 24th which is a longweekend in Canada most of the age group will be out camping .my stream account updated my Cliffs of dover and it runs great ..i would rather get it with bugs and know what my settings are and play around with it. then wait around .. then go out and buy a supported joystick and spend hours finding the sweet spot and playing with high/mid setting to see that my video card is good Theres more then spending $50 bucks on a game with this In some cases people have bought CPU's GPU'S ram joysticks and the $$$ factors add up just to keep hearing the game is being bumped up to next month

Agreed definite recommend i really thought after hearing at the "gamming computer guys" i-7 intell and $2,000 upgrades that i had no chance on even making it to the start button .. But with my little Amd duel core 4 gigs of ram and a 5770 video card i was amazed that not only did it start i play it at max settings and still get 100fps on a 42" screen The only bug i have seen is when im over water on the front view the leftside the water waves move forwards as normal but on the rightside the waves seem to move right to left over lapping the waves going forwards its faint but there still very playable as for lining up for a good shot the planes seem to be abit bouncey ..Up pass the target corrected..Down pass the target.. Not sure if its a setting for the game ..like prop wash ..Or i'm missing out on trim or a flap .i'm thinking a flap because if i let go of the plane it likes to climb
Over the next 6 months i would love to see better audio files the sound is poor for a sim
i'm hearing the same sounds from a game i played 10 years ago I think that needs to be addressed before adding more plane models with the same sounds

You know what, just because one of the cardinal sins was committed, and CLOD was released beta, doesn't rule out the greatness it was.

Its like XP and Vista. when its all patched and done, it'll be like Win 7.

    Be thankful
