Check out the steam profile. If it isn't private, you can see how many hours one has played RUSE...

Obviously if someone has played 200 hours of RUSE and is level 10 something went wrong

You can make profile private so noone can see your hours played

    Just a tip ^^

been high lvl doesn't mean anything its true, but been low lvl usually means the guy is new, so better play with players on even lvl and learn the game. when i play from time to time i usually kick low lvls cause at this momment i d like challenges and u only can get better with playing better players.

Yes Alcarin, but that would only make it worse for you if you were kicked for being low level...

But alot of people still don't understand that the level in Ruse doen't say anything about the skill of that player. You can get to level 100 while only playing the campaign...

Not so long ago there were alot of complaints here because there were not enough players online etc. So I think we should welcome them in those games , share the experience, learn them a few tricks and give them tips.

I know that some of you will probably say that I should play ranked games instead of public. But I like to play on 3v3 and 4v4 maps sometimes.

    Just a little frustration ...

Good point, but I have found that most low level players live up (or should I say DOWN) to their level. It is frustrating to those of us with RUSE xp to have players on our team that don't even take the time to learn Ruse basics. They just start spamming what they think are Uber units (yeah the arty spammer, I'm looking at you!)without giving any attention to what unit/s are best for the situation or worse yet immediately turtle up by bunker spamming or Admin spamming and thus pretty much leaving the rest of the team without an effective FIGHTING teammate.

I have become familiar with most RUSE regulars and so I pretty much know who has had their level reset. I as well have been through the level reset game bias and true enough I found it hard to be accepted until lvl 30 plus. However, on the other end at lvl 100 lower level players wont accept you cause the think your to OP'd a player or some even suggest I hacked or cheated to get to lvl 100.

So now I just manually reset my level once I get to lvl 60 -70 and then camp AI to get my lvl back up to lvl 30 again and that seems to be working better for newer players to accept my lvl in the game lobby.

It's just a method to help be accepted by the newer players, those of us that have been around know what's up and don't totally judge based on level unless that's all we have to go on.

Oh, and as far as the slow down in the amount of online players goes... I wouldn't put that so much on the level bias as the constant player disconnect issues that STILL plague 4v4 and 3v3 maps. That issues alone caused me to step away from RUSE for about 3 weeks hoping that it would get fixed. I'll probably do that again as the issues still remain and my patience with RUSE is wearing thin again. Yesterday, 4v4 maps had 8 of 10 games for me that had some sort of player disconnect or loading freeze with just 2 that went full game and ended naturally with one team winning. That to me is PATHETIC for any game claiming to be an ONLINE MP game.

I always quit before I win the game. This way I don't gain the bonus EXP.

yea if your a low level you get kicked pretty often. i find it unfair because how you gonna learn, the campaign much and the AI is so bad you don't learn anything.

Also what is up with the crappy connection its so disappointing that a 4v4 is really 3v2 when like almost half of them disconnect.

company of heroes online IS A FREE RTS game and it get better connection and more support then ruse so someone tell me what is up
