    What I don't understand is how they were allowed to get the container from the wreck. It came from U-1, which was sunk with all hands lost, so surely the wreck is a protected war grave?
    That doesn;t apply for all countries. For instance, in USSR, where Ukriane is right now, in Sevastopol, the Italian ship, renamed "Novorossiysk" was blown up. A lot of controversy there, but the fact remains. Most of the crew below decks died. They salvaged the ship, since it was blocking the harbor, and took the skeletons out. So much for disturbing the grave

    Very interesting.

    This flak was recovered from U-boat some time ago, unfortunetly I forgot the numbers of boat.As you can see it was not kept in a watertight container

    id love to have a gun of that size i think id try to clean it up though and maby coat it in a black antirust paint. to bad im not a millionare......yet lol.
