Why not make a Death Star trench run in the full mission builder?
I made a long line of castles to act as the walls of the Death Star. I put a V1 rocket tube at the end for a target, and filled the trench with AA guns.
I decided that there is nothing more suitable for the proton torpedoes than HVAR rockets.
Spitfires can't fire rockets.
So I decided to use a Corsair.
It's not quite complete yet. Still too short, needs weapon balancing, and is extremely sloppy.
I was thinking about throwing in some Zeros as TIE fighters. I just need to find out how the AI acts at such low altitudes.
Discuss.

Use a Norwegian fjord and some Mosquitos.

and nevermind the V1 launcher
object # 367 in the FMB is a 2m-wide thermal exhaust port
sounds perfect for your use
if not, try object # 581 in the FBD "wombat"...be sure to set skill to "ace"

Seafires can shoot rockets.

Don't be too generous with AAA or you won't even run 100 metres. Il-2 gunners are far better than SW beams. As for the AI Zeros, they will crash right from the start, or try to hover above the course, losing speed. They wouldn't -or shouldn't- catch an all running Corsair, anyway.

And be sure to not use the gunsight. Use the force.

Make is so you have to fly under a couple of bridges too. That's lots a fun.
By the way, the Seafire can be loaded out with rockets.

You should add P-38s to be Y-wings.
If you're looking for something whose ingame performance matches that of a real TIE fighter, I would suggest the I-185.

I would download it for sure. That sounds like a BLASTER...uh, blast.
Just an ill fated attempt with my dry sense of humor...sorry.
