    Well, what I mean by that is I actually got off the plane and out of the airport at many of these places, but not much more than that.

    Well,now UR Yugoslavia is Serbia and Montenegro. What it used to be was Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia... Did I miss anything?

    You are not automatically a good lover because you have a harem.
    Which means that its not the quantity that counts.
    You can se all famous places, paintings, religios places but if you dont know anything about it, you dont understand it.
    I think you have to live with the "native" people in the country to understand it
    If you are a serviceman and lives on a base,that look the same as your homecountry, has the same food, the same malls etc etc you can stay 10 years abroad but havnt got much more experience about the country than you can get from a good documentary.

    I did a 6 month trip half-way around the world (going slowly and enjoying it immensely) many years ago. Most of the countries on the list I have spent more than 2 weeks in.

    I have also spent 3 months on a Kibbutz. If you count border changes that have been implemented scince that time, then I suppose you could say that I have also been in Egypt (Sinai changed hands after I had been there).
    ooooh I love travel! I do much too little of it these days

    At least i stayed a while, drank their beer and sampled their women.... well almost all of the countries, some of them, the latter were dog rough...................
