WOW!! That is AWESOME Hunter! Amazing how the bottom just fell out of the price of these cards over the past three months. And it an All In Wonder too. Geesh! That is a feature I would like to have. What a price! I may list this X800XT on ebay to sell it just to be able to pick one of these up. Sure is something to think about.Originally posted by Hunter82:
Just a FYI for those on the fence about a GT or XT over $
right now until May 31 we are selling the X800XT AIW @389.99 plus ATI has a $50 mailin rebate so that makes the card 339.99....and equal to GT prices.

HUNTER thats a good price on that card...but the GT can be had for around 270-285 right now...and with that said i would still go with the XT for that price...so really theres no compaining the GT and XT...to me they are a different class of card...but for thier respective classes and price points they are both top...dogg...
And I hate to beat you about the power supply again... no I don't! I think it's a good idea!... but www.magnum-pc.com thinks it's such an important issue that a small company like that beats big suppliers on Powerstream prices because they essentially are selling them at cost for the benefit of their customers.
Remember, an OCZ Modstream is not nearly as good a power supply as the Powerstream series, so you can't just go by brand name and turn your brain off. Many power supply manufacturers produce several grades of power supplies all rated at the same wattage more or less, but there can be as much as 40% difference in some brands going from their cheapest to the most expensive.
The OCZ 520 watt power supply will last you for a long time and go into your next build, because now you are part of the IL-2 community and friends don't let friends buy Dell!
Eddie, do yourself a favor a spring for a good stout power supply. Why take chances with a $350+ vid card? HH Quazi is a different sort of person and tortures these vid cards for sport and really knows what he is doing. But if you are like me where torching a vid card would steal food from your baby's mouth and cause a family budget crisis think again before unlocking pipe lines or trying to get by with a marginal power supply.
I have a Dell 4600 that I moved into an Antec Performance Plus case with a 430 watt power supply when upgrading to a 9800 pro. Did I really need to do that? For $120 I moved my Dell out of its hot cramped mini tower into a big roomy box with lots of fans and a solid power supply. I rest easy knowing heat and power supply issues won't be a problem. And I still have a good foundation for future upgrades. Why take chances about whether your power supply was adequate? You would be pissed if you found out the hard way.
I'll be adding a $30 rebate on the Sapphire X850XT PE AGP will be less than that over the weekend...we're constantly beating up vendors on pricing to allow us to get you guys better deals and now have rebate ability like the larger vendors...
We'll keep working on it....resistance to buying from us is futile![]()
