Yeah, I know what you mean. It's December 22nd, 1940 in my career, and I just got a second message from BdU informing me of a convoy passing through my patrol sector(AM41). It's about 03:15 and I'm expecting them to cross my path just before 05:00. With 2 radio reports over the course of an hour, I was able to draw a nice line between the contact points on on into the distance.
may be a dumb question but is shooting neutral ships realy that bad a thing? I ask because I have gone clear across the Atlantic a couple times hunting convoys and taking pit stops in New York harbor to break out the deck gun and blast all the docked ships. I got a T2 and a C3 on my last trip and thats some nice tonage and a stationary target with the deck gun meks it nice also.
Yep! 5000 points unfortunately. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Originally posted by Messervy:

Ummm..it costs you renown?
For what exactly? Neutrals cost a mild punishment while friendlies get multiplied by a lot!
Shoot. That means I'm really in trouble, aren't I?
I actually like that aspect of the game though. You should have a big enough penalty to make you sweat it out pretty bad. Imagine if that sort of thing really happened. I don't think your superior commanders would brush it off lightly. They probably wouldn't give you three strikes.
