    Greetings all!

I have been lurking on this forum for over a year now, listening to the chatter on my hydrophones, but have decided to surface and greet my fellow commanders.

I have found this forum most entertaining to watch, full of interesting facts, and unforgetable characters and scenarios(Sockmo not the least, and Celeon's marvellous piece on the over-worked Romanian coders!). You guys are so cool!

I just installed silent hunter 3 myself but have been lurking these forums for some time.

I have a question -- are there any more video tutorials on the net that are similiar to the video tutorials that came with SH3? I think those are great to get you going in this simulation.

    Welcome.
Yes this forum (and the one and subsim.com) are what keep this game fresh for me. Humor, help, intelligent discussion, all are here.

    Welcome guys.

It's great that we are still getting new players and forum members over a year after SH3 was released.

I still think, that although sales of this game did not go through the roof, they will continue slow & steady for quite some time and will eventually become one of the all-time great games, a classic 'must have. This thread should stay open for a long time yet, as this trickle effect will happen here as well

Welcome aboard. The crew of U-1 and Socko say Yo! Keep an eye on that little cotton ball of mayhem he may seem innocent but the second your back is turned...
