    So, a little over a year ago I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. In addition to that, I also had a life long case of Aortic Stenosis, times were tough. I weighed almost 500 pounds, I had hit a point where I just...didn't care anymore. Everything seemed pointless, and I was just severely depressed.

    You have to understand that how I got here is basically because my whole life people had said don't over exert yourself. Don't do this, don't do that. Maybe my parents had been a bit too protective, whatever the case, call it me being misinformed and depressed that got me to where I was at.

    I came home from my 3 months hospital stay, thankfully my will to stay out of a nursing home and be better not just for me, but for the people that cared about me helped me change. I started eating better, fruits instead of chips, water instead of soda, poultry instead of red meats etc etc. and then I found Your Shape.

    I, was too embarrassed to go to a gym. Too ashamed to step foot outside and walk around the block for fear of being ridiculed, and I thought this was a good way to get moving. The exercises were tough no doubt - I couldn't finish them half the time. A lot of times it was frustrating because the size and shape of my body wasn't being picked up right by the Kinect Sensor leading to low percentages. But I worked through it, and despite not keeping accurate count on the game (quit out lots of times because I was too tired to carry on) I felt and saw changes in my body. Your shape was working for me.

    I've been keeping busy with the cardio kick-boxing classes and Sleeve busting arm work out, but I started with the light cardio/toning exercises with gym games sprinkled up here and there when I was really tired.

    I would never believe it, no one believed it. My doctors/cardiologists were ecstatic, often times thanking me for making their day. Asking me what my secret was, telling me I was doing great - saying I was strong for making it on my own without physical therapy, surgery, or weight loss pills.

    I used to weigh 500 pounds. Though the earliest medical paper I found says 482.0


    Thanks to my diet change plus Your Shape I'm down to 335.0 (on a full stomach)



    Thanks to anyone who took the time to read, I guess I just wanted to say thanks to the devs, if they ever read this. And thanks to anyone else who reads, if you're like me and you don't think it's possible IT IS. If I can do it, bum heart and all, so can anyone else. It's hard, and it seems hopeless sometimes. But the results speak for themselves.

    I'm eagerly awaiting the next Your Shape title, again, thanks to anyone who reads this.

    That is so inspiring. Clearly you are doing very well, look at all the weight lost! incredible story! keep up the good work, I can only hope I get results like that!
