I have one and it only works for FSX a little disappointing and it needs a plugin for FS2004 to work with it.
    FS2004 interface

Its not a problem for me as i use FSX anyway and it fits well on my yoke as designed
however a plugin for use on IL2 would be nice

IMHO if you only use 1946 don`t bother buying this switch panel

PS it`s not back lite either

Well that's pretty stupid.. You'd think they would make it a general controller like their joysticks, able to work in any sim...

Ok I have had a reply to the mail and it basically confirms everything Jolly has stated above...

    "Hi,

The Switch panel is only compatible with FSX under our driver. The additional FS2004 plugin has been made by a third party enthusiast. The panel will not work in IL2 with our panel. In order for it to do so, an additional third party plugin would be required.

    Best Regards"

Anyone with more talent than myself fancy having a go at making a plug in ?

Maybe someone at "the other place" would pick up the challange ?

Thats kinda bad marketing and design IMO. Do they have enough MSFS users out there to make it profitable. They can't design it it to be compatible with their profiling software ?

That is so stupid. I was ready to buy one too!

Saitek has always made very compatible stuff and yet they couldn't be bothered to even make a driver to have it work in just about any sim?

Imagine how much cash they're losing.

    Ugh, I'm dejected now.

Considering Microsoft apparently ending flight sim production it is monumentaly shortsighted
