Chapter 10

“Why is your door fixed? Is this a prank?” he asked looking suspicious. “No!” I cried. “It really was broken! My friends and the ubis saw!!” “It’s true,” they replied all at once. “Hm, well I guess I’ll be on my way.” I closed the door and stared into space. Then I cried, “Oh my goodness!!” “What?! What?!” my friends and the ubis shouted. “Could the person behind this be….. My arch enemy,” I pause. “Lavender?” “It could be,” Mymy replied. “She hated you when you became more popular then her. She hated you even more when you became cheerleading team captain. She wanted you thrown out of the school when you were voted student of the year. And when her bff stopped being friends with her and became friends with you because you are MUCH nicer to your friends she-“ “Yah,” I interrupted. “Don’t remind me about that one.” “So what you are saying,” UbiJanine said. “Is that she could be the one and trying to get even?” “OMG!! If she is… this could mean that my friends might get the same things I am.” My friends went pale as soon as I said that. But the ubis looked okay. “Well if you see her again you can email us,” UbiLorelai told me. “Okay. I totally will!” I said, glad that she said that. “Well we have to get back to work now. I hope this doesn’t happen again!” “That makes two of us!” “Bye!” they called. “Bye!” we called back. “Man,” I said as I closed the door. “This is very scary.”
