Chapter 30

The trio tried to be good about this princess stuff, but it wasn’t easy. It probably isn’t like how regular princess have it……

Mikaela was sitting at the dining table, eating a buttered piece of toast, a few pieces of crispy bacon, and a small bowl of grits. Not that she really wanted to, it’s just “princesses” are supposed to be kept healthy and not hungry. She was dressed in a lavender satin long sleeve blouse, a pair of denim pants, a pair of black low heeled sandals, and a sapphire barrette. She loved the wardrobe, yes, but she didn’t like all the school activities, if that’s even what “princesses” are supposed to call them. Soon Hermione was downstairs and sitting in her proper place, according to Crystal anyways, and bean to eat creamy grits, sausage, and boiled eggs. She was dressed in a hot pink short sleeve blouse, a denim mini skirt, golden high heels, and a ruby necklace. Of course, she liked the wardrobe as well, but hated the events. Dani came downstairs and sat between them, starting to munch on her cereal, crispy bacon, and toast with her favorite jelly. She wore a neon blue long sleeve blouse, a pair of denim jeans, and a pair of sneakers. I’m guessing she wasn’t too much on the clothing.

“Good morning darlings!” Crystal said, still cheery as ever. “Are you having a good morning?”

They mumbled no but out loud they said, “Yes.”

“Good! Today we’re going to have custom gowns made for each of you.”

That didn’t sound too bad.

“We have a big dance so we can teach each of you some hard dance steps.”

That sounded bad.

“Tell me what you want on your dresses and I’ll have them made.” She looked at the girls, expecting them to speak up of what they wanted. The trio stayed quiet.

Finally Hermione spoke up. “Can we go to ours rooms to think about what we want?”

Crystal looked surprised but said, “Sure.”

They trio went up to Dani’s room and sprawled themselves around her room. Mikaela looked up from her spot on the floor.

“I wish we were home. I hate it here,” she said, giving a maddening stare at the window. “I wanna see Salz, Nina, UbiLorelai. I wanna see everyone. I miss them all.”

The other two nodded in agreement. These three really felt homesick………
