I think that is entirely possible. If that is the case they should just let the community know. I bet first day sales would increase by a decent enough margin. Releasing the spy vs merc as dlc also seems pretty viable. Especially at 800 or 1200 points. Even if only the 50,000 people that viewed the multiplayer discussion bought the dlc it would still bring in $500,000. Even that seems very conservative.
Also remember that they need to test the multiplayer experience. We don't want another MW2 hack fest. I would love to see it released this time next year or even for christmas.

Maybe we'll see an announcement at E3. And then it will release this fall around christmas. It would be the announcement of the show if it happened.
Comeon we have over 200 views but less than 20 unique name posts. Lets go gamers show your support.

I would pay for 2 vs 2.

The only reason they didn't add SvM was cause they didn't want to screw up and waste disc space with bad multiplayer. They were focused on making new mechanics and the next Splinter Cell game (since they have most of where their mechanics are, even if purests don't like it) they can focus on making balanced multiplayer

Although 2 v2 would be better then 1 v1 it wouldnt be SvM. I would like to see them spend there time moving on to the next game that will hopefully go back to its roots.
