this is the first time ive posted in forever but i would buy Conviction and DLC if they implied classic SvM similar to CT with option to change controls to classic style. I never invested as much time into an oline mode. Well over 700 hrs. I put weeks into the DA tourny and won, about as hardcore a fan there is UBI, dont turn a longtime loyal away from their favorite game.

CT had the best multiplayer experience ever! I made good friends while gaming on CT too

2 v 2 Would complete this game and provide a superior EXPERIENCE!

I am all in for this. I would definitely buy this as dlc. It's ridiculous that this isn't in the game already. Why wouldn't you wanna make it the best sc yet?

@Cyrus.H How hard is it to take out Mark and Execute, Last Known Position from the MP??? Thats a very stupid reason for not having SvM
It wouldn't be hard to disable the Mark & Execute and Last Known Position for the multiplayer, it just wouldn't be feasible for multiplayer modes such as Face Off.

The entire game is built around the M&E system where there are often three guys in one room- most probably two of them are standing under a light chatting and one is wandering around aimlessly in the dark for you to kill with hand-to-hand combat in order to gain the Execute token to take out his other friends.

A multiplayer mode featuring two human opponents using the Mark & Execute mechanic to face off against each other would ultimately require no skill at all, involve a lot of button mashing to see who press Y first to execute their opponent, it would soon get redundant, and it would be incredibly frustrating for those who have a different connection speed to their opponent.

    GT: A RAY LS1

The thing I loved most about PT, and CT was SvM. It was the most fun I had with any online game ever! I loved the felling of moving from shadow to shadow attempting to sneak up on the merc and out smart him, so exciting! Also playing as the merc was fun as well because you always had that thought in your mind "where are they" oh I loved the suspense.

    My idea for SCC SvM...

    The Mercs:
Give the mercs all the weapons to chose from, they get 2 pick two and can chose attachments to have. They have a standard 1st person view with a flashlight available as well as other classic gadgets.

    The Spys (M&E included):
The spys should get a tazer gun (non-lethal or else they would have a huge advantage). Go ahead and give them the ability of M&E with the non-lethal gun. This way (after getting a hand to hand kill) spys can hide in the shadows and then do a quick M&E to stun the Merc for 5 seconds to hack a terminal. This would fit the devs style of game while still creating fun and classic gameplay.

    Hand to Hand combat:
Since the new style of hand to hand combat in SCC is much more powerful for the spys, it would have to be altered. A frontal confrontation would be dealt with the press of B (melee button) like normal. Which ever side presses it first (spy or merc) would "win". This would be a non lethal attack and who ever won would do a take-down move that would put the other on the ground and leave them unable to move for 3-5 seconds. A loss of the spy in this case would obviously result in a death, but that is a risk the spy should think about before approaching a merc from the front.

A confrontation from behind would result in a normal kill of the merc with the spy using some krav maga move.

    LKP:
This could still be used as normal, and when a Merc spots a spy it would come up as usual.

I just don't see why the dev team did not include this. It perfectly fits with the new style of game.
