If you likes sh4 then good for you, you are obviously pleased fairly easily, then stay in the Pacific, you can have it.
You surely can see that not a great deal is fixed, nice radar pictures and a speed help wowee, yippee, so what. Its not good enough, we are going to all have to wait until the patch comes out to see what improvements have been done, but if this little insight is correct then get a life enough is enough, sh4 has been what is called a rip off, good graphics, nice, but the rest is well under par, you can have it, im staying with sh3 patched with WAC and GWX, because that is as good as it gets.
I waited for the release of sh4 as we all did, with great anticipation, and couldnt wait to try it out, now 4 months down the line its obvious that it was made off the back of sh3, and has just been a cosmetic improvement and nothing else, hell cant you see what a con its been. I too expected great things and wanted so much from its release but come on. I hope the patch is wonderful and excitng and impressive so i can get myself back in the Pacific with some good gameplay to go with the excellent graphics, but if as i expect it is just these little improvements then i dont care any more, im happy with sh3 and any one who would be happy with sh4 can have it andi hope you enjoy it, mine is on the shelve and depending upon the patch it can stay there for all i care.
We all have an opinion and this is why we have forums so if you like it then fine, but dont try to ram your opinions down my throat, as i dont try to convert anyone, we all make our own choices and decisions, ive made mine.

Well, glad I discovered this late rather than early! Just in time for the Patch, otherwise I might`ve been miffed. I always thought that it was maybe some kind of reserve power was kicking the battery in like some dynamo... Shows what I know about subs... GWX is great but a mod, there are already good people working on mods which will really bring SH4 up to par. Crew management is already superior in SH4 for example.
Have fun with GWX anway, tis superb work.

Jesus, just because some games are flawed doesn't mean you shouldn't play them. Just because some people like certain games with flaws doesn't mean they are easy to please, it just means that they have different tastes.
I don't know about anyone else here, but I love the Pacific (I was born in the Philipines, lived in Hawai'i for 6 years, and lived in Japan for 3, which is close to the Pacific), I love the Navy, and I love submarines.
I don't see anyone trying to ram the opinion that SH4 is good down your throat, but it seems to me that you are constantly telling us that SH4 is a piece of **** and so we must drop it altogether and stick with SH3, which obviously must be the greatest SubSim of all time, since you love it so much.

If you don't like the PTO/SH4 then don't play. It's that simple. Nobody's asking you to. But, don't post on a SH4 forum about how "horrible" it is and how "stupid" anyone that doesn't faint with the greatness of SH3 is.
