Well, hum, this is only a technical problem I have :
I am using a AMD 64, with a twin Nvidia 6600 graphic accelerator (SLI).
It is terrible, because, the water is always scintillating when i am using the full detailed landscape mode (in video setup).
I am obliged to get to the "excellent" landscape mode, but i dislike it, because :
1 - the trees are not correctly drawn (missing a the vertical parts)
2 - The landscape mesh is moving while flying (I find this horrible!).
Can anyone in the world help me?!?
because it is terrible to hae such a PC and to be limitated on my favoured game!!!
I have another question :
I it strange that, at a altitude of 6 or 7000mm, the top speed of a Me-262 for example is not more that 400km/h.
Normally, this altitude should be one of the best for such warbirds to fly at their maximum speed.
Well, just a point : Il-2/FB/AEP/PF is the best WWII simulator in the world for me!!!

If you move this over to community help your likely to get tech minded people reading it and offering solutions.

Remember the airspeed shown is INDICATED airspeed (IAS). The higher you go the less air there is to work the airspeed indicator. As opposed to your TRUE airspeed (TAS), which is actually how fast you are moving through the air. You have to factor temp and altitude to determine TAS.
An airliner at cruising altitude will only indicate 200 knots or so, but the true airspeed will be over 500 kts.
