Which key was it to walk around the boat?? | Forums

Hi, Just started playing SH4 again after a long break, and i've forgoten which key(s) you press to detach from the fixed interior positions in order to walk around the boat??

Any help!

With Mods like TMO, you don't need to press anything and you can walk around some what more realisticly. its great!

Well, using the Menumaker I created a button for that so I wouldn't have to remember the keys.

I saw this post earlier and thought it was a joke. I`ve had this sim for ages and was always annoyed at why you couldn`t walk about your boat inside. It looked like you should, but you couldn`t. It always rankled me.

I just tried the control mentioned here and discovered I CAN walk about my boat! I would never have known if it wasn`t for this post.

Use the mouse. Move it forward to angle up then the arrow key to move. It's like flying an aircraft.

Thanks. Done. I don`t have outside views on, so it was really nice to get out the sub and walk all the way down the bow of the ship and back again. Put a big grin on my face. Also, while weathering some depth charges in the deep, I like to walk about the Command Room musing patiently while everyone else is getting worried.
