If that floats your boat, more power to you. Although the concept does seem very pricy, I can see how the idea appeals to some. You get to look forward to something good in the post once a week, and a large project that in totality may seem too huge to tackle is broken into many smaller and manageable parts.

Would you be so kind as to post some pics of your project from time to time? I for one would like to see your project take shape over time. I know I earlier referred to these people as clowns, but that was really aimed at the doofus who wrote the ad who didn't know the difference between a battleship and a destroyer, not at the actual project makers.

    Build the Bismarck:
    Price : issue 1 £0.50, issue 2 £2.99, issue 3 onwards £4.99
    Number of issues : 140
    138*4.99 + 0.50 + 2.99 = £692.11

Don't forget that you still require paint, glue and about 3 years of patience... Your choice anyway.

Hi, I am building the Hachette Bismarck. While it is expensive, it builds into a very large and impressive working model. I shall be running a web site www.buildthebismarck.co.uk where you can see my progress.

If you're interested in model ships you may also like my Titanic web site www.buildthetitanic.co.uk.
    Cheers
