I've tried Iphones and wasn't blown away by the thing.

However I have always wanted a gadget that would get rid of every other gadget I have. This is it.

Sure it's a little to big for a smartphone but I never call people often anyway. But damn, the 5 inch screen is great for movies on the go, the gaming is almost as good as a psp, for 10 quid a month I can stream and download into offline mode an unlimited amount of tracks over spotify mobile, I have OS mapping software coupled with the GPS so there goes my Garmin GPS in one fell swoop, it's synced with my univeristy google mail and keeps me updated on that and facebook on the homepage. It's got a great calender widget as well which means I'm never EVER going to forget deadlines.

To top it off the cameras good enough that it negates the need for a compact.

Best bit of technology I have ever bought even though people are ranting that it only runs on Android 1.6, however this is being updated to 2.2.

The only downside is the battery life is a little short, although much better than my mates HTC Desire HD and another friends HTC HD2.

£420, friggin' Nora Aimail I thought you said youi were poor!

I was pretty impressed by the I-Phone, but then I don't have a mobile phone so I suppose I would be somewhat bewitched by the thing. It did seem to almost coindicentally capable of making a phone call as well as doing all the other shinanigans that it gets up to. I do like the OS Map GPS thing you were talking about, could well be a life saver round here if visibility drops on the tops. And I've been meaning to stick all my music onto a single thing too. I take it it synchs with other stuff like a desktop/lap tops? I'm a bit naive when it comes to this sort of thing.

I still use one of these, it's my third XDA, cannot fault it, does about everything I could ask of it except wipe my butt...... would probably do that too, but the keys would get all sticky and it would smell like *****

TBH it's brilliantly usefull for me as I'm VERY disorganized and I can practically organize my entire life with the device!

I liked the upcoming iPhone with a superior camera because the video is unbelievable and the iPhone has the video editing software built into it. This alone grabbed me.

What I detest is $100+ a month to AT&T to run the frasting thing. $1200 a year is ridiculous for a jumped up cell phone.
