I'm seriously not just ranting here, but the title of this thread represents how I feel about both the moderator's attitude and the attitude of the company in general as it regards questions being asked about the iDevice version of this game. People are simply asking WHY there is no information. Look, we get it that you don't like it when your "power" as mods are questioned, but all people are looking for is a way to give Ubisoft their money. They are interested in a product. This product was announced with a decent amount of fanfare. Then...nothing. No word. How freaking hard would it be for someone to simply say where they are in the process? That's it. An answer. Not necessarily an exact date, since those obviously are arbitrary and don't mean anything in the case of this version of the game, but simply an answer on where it is now in development. Somebody knows the answer. Many people must know the answer. Just because you're sick of seeing threads about it, isn't going to stop people from wanting to know something. Your arrogant attitude is incredibly off-putting. I hope some people get a chance to read this before it's removed, because I know I speak for many who won't post since they don't want to get the ban hammer.

90% of release problems on the Istore is down to apple and no body else, they have super strict rules and have stopped companies such as microsoft and google publishing items on the store, only to break their own rules with a apple made app.

apple control everything in their store and have actually made more rejections for app's than they have accepted.

if you have a problem with the game not coming out fast enough on the Istore take it up with apple as they are most likely the problem.

    a) If Apple was the problem we surely would have heard that by now.
    b) Even if that was the case, (and it isn't), all I'm asking for is an ANSWER. If Apple is the problem, then I'm sure Ubisoft would be more than vocal about that.
    c) Nothing you said addresses the main point of the post, which is not that the game isn't out soon enough, it's that the company seems unwilling to give ANY information about the change in release date.

if the game is trying to get through the apple approval process there is nothing Ubi can tell you as it all comes down to apple for if and when it will be published.

this is the biggest problem with the Iphone/touch they run on a locked system so developers are stuck and cant even sneeze unless apple tell them it's ok.

Again, you're wrong. If it's going through the Apple approval process then Ubi simply needs to say, "It's been submitted. It's out of our hands now". They haven't done that. They haven't said ANYTHING. It just shows incredible arrogance to not respond to simple questions about a game people want to PAY THEM FOR.

or it shows you are one of the many people who believe apple can do no wrong despite using a system that locks the entire device to only be able to do what they say.

i wish people would stop moaning about things and just accept that something isnt the way they want it to be. Its really annoying how people come on here and moan and groan all the time and just blame the wrong people. And even when they are proved wrong they still won't accept it

You're either not reading my posts, or just are not capable of understanding. Yor're accusing me of being a fanboy when you have 13,000 freaking posts on a Ubisoft forum. Who's the fanboy? This isn't about Apple and their policies. Its about Ubisoft not answering inquiries. That's it.

and that just made your argument totally valid didn't it

Ubi can only answer and enquiry if they actually have informations to give. if the game is tied up in the system they have no information to give so they cant give any.
