Now downloading part 4 of the download library. As before, it is being released with a small executable file and a series of binary files, in this case, seven. No problems as of yet; a little bit slow, perhaps, but nothing to complain about. The bin files are 200 megabytes each so far. I don't know the size of the last file, but I guess the total download will be about 1.2 gigabytes.

Yes, it is out, but only for those who have donated to the SubSim site. This first week is on a donation basis, after which it will be released to the general public. The modders of GW 2.0 wish it to be know that they are not charging for the mod; the first week on a donation basis is in order to support the SubSim website, which is run and funded from the pockets of one man, Neal Stevens. They wished to show their appreciation of his support by making Grey Wolves a vehicle for donations. If you do not wish to pay a voluntary donation in order to get the mod now, all you have to do is wait for one more week, after which it will be released to the general public at large. I have also heard mention that torrents will be created as well, in order to maximize the download bandwidth.

Can I please ask a massive favour? I only have dial-up, so, can someone please burn GWX-2 to DVD and post it to me? I'll happily pay you for all expenses, and will post the disc on to other members who require the same help.

That's a great idea and something I have also been thinking about. We can all help to "share the love" so to speak. In the spirit of the "support SubSim" campaign, I would suggest that in order not to subvert the present drive to raise financial support for SubSim, that we not undercut the campaign. I'd be happy to help distribute the disc [once I have it! I am still in the process of downloading it.] but I'm just one guy. This would need a number of volunteers to step forward.

I did'nt think i had a dvd rewriter drive but it seems i have.
I'll be interested in volunteering for that one.

Sorry, K61. I hadn't thought about undermining the subsim campaign. Was just trying to help someone out. Just coming off a dail-up network not all that long ago, I know what hueywolf is going through when something like this comes out. What would you suggest I do to help out?
