~*^ It's Just Life ^*~

Yes, I am her. The one and only, Rose Edric. You got it, I am the rich and famous Rose Edric.... yay... My mother, Jasmine Edric, is from the lovely Australia and my father, Daniel Edric is from the stunning shores of Honolulu. Anyway, being rich and famous, isn't all rainbows and unicorns. I hate it. I hate being rich and famous, but of course my parents had to name me Rose, a beautiful flower and my last name had to be Edric, meaning rich. Sometimes, I just want to put on my $10 dress - not my $5,000 "run around" dress, with my $2 black cardigan - not my sparkly, silver jacket, given to me by the 'Summer Jackie', my black converse - not my solid gold high heels, my cute fake beret - not my leather one, bought from Paris and ride my rusty old red bike - not my own private limo, down to a paddock and pretend the clouds were sheep and count them one, by one. Just like I use to, before I knew I was famous. I guess, it's just life...
Chapter 1 - My "PERFECT" life
I lay here. In my pink water-proof couch, in my massive pool. I look to my left. There is GiGi, my $2,000 french poodle, asleep in her expensive dog house, not kennel, HOUSE. I look to my right. There is my butler, preparing a summer drink for me. Then I look at the pool. There's Chad, my boyfriend, impressing me with his tricks...well not just that, his perfect hair, his perfect smile and his perfect attitude to life. "Hey Rose" he says as he comes up from doing MANY laps of the pool. "Wow, that gold bikini DEFINITELY suits you!" he continues. "And your gold sunglasses makes your lips look pink" Chad says, trying to make my stomach have butterflies of joy...well Chad, it worked. "Thanks.." I say sitting up on my lounge.
"You ok, honey bunny?" He says, commenting on my 'Thanks..'.
"Yeah..it's just that..just that..I need to cough...all better" I say, making up an excuse.
Really, all that it is, is that people think my life is perfect. Sometimes I even believe that my life is too perfect, but NO-ONE'S life is perfect. Everyone has a few troubles in their lives. Mine is that people lie to me. I don't really have any friends. Most of my "friends" are my "friends" just because I have a 4 story, 7 acre house, or because I have 30 servants in my house. I want people to like me, for me. Not for who I am - the rich, beautiful and famous girl, who lives at 24 Hollywood Avenue. I don't even know if Chad likes me for me, or for who I am.
I look up at the sky. Not a cloud in site, well except for whatever they use to sky write. What does it say you say? Okay, this is what it says 'Rose Edric - the one and only'. Yep, probably my Dad organised that. "Chad, look at the sky." I say to Chad.
"You like it?" He replies
"Well, yes but.." I say back, getting interrupted
"But I got it done, for you" Chad says to me
"Really? YOU did it? Aww thank you Chad" I say lovingly.
Does Chad really love me? Or does he just love my money..it was the time to find out.
"Hey, Chaddy?" I ask nervously.
"Yes Rosey?" He replies
Ok, here it goes "Why do you like me?" I say quickly and sacredly.
"Nothing" Chad replied.
"WHAT!?" I scream
"Well, I don't like your gorgeous looks, beautiful smile and your awesome sense of giving. Thats what I LOVE about you." he says, putting his charm on 100%
"Really?" I ask
"Of course" he says
"Thank you" I say while smiling
"What? For that? No. I bet LOTS of people say that to you!" He exclaims.
"Well, they do, but they don't mean it, they just say it because I am rich and famous. But you say it, because you mean it. And thats what I love about you!" I say gratefully.
I lay back in my lounge and think, wow, my life is perfect. But trust, me it isn't.
