I wonder if anyone got this product yet, and what are your thoughts on it?

I am looking into buying it, but alas, Canada is a little behind for online purchases, and no retail seems to have it yet!

The two people I know that have gotten the Saitek Throttle quadrant absolutely love it. I have a CH TQ and after using one, I wouldn't want to do without it (but the same can be said for TIR and the rest of my CH controllers)

my x45 makes that grincing noise, but a little vacuuming cured it

as for the quadrant I wanted to add flaps/prop pitch/radiator onto sliders and I think the compactness + saitek fidelity is attracting me to it!

    yours?

    ok,

I have had mine for a bit now, and I have to say I love it.

It goes very nicely with my x52, and now I have better cem controls

Being able to reach up and manage the prop pitch with a lever is a heck of a lot nicer than buttons.

only problem is that the current saitek manager for it is pretty much crappy beta.

I am running with the old x52 pro manager and not running a full profile for the quad.

I am looking forward to that though.

skunk: je sais, je sais always up to something...

BSS: if you don't use the manager, does the game recognize it as a HOTAS system seperate from your x52?

In theory it should. I bought Saitek rudder pedals when I still used my x45, and thought I needed to install drivers, so I popped in the pedal's CD. It wanted to uninstall the software I was using for my X45. So I said screw it and tried them in game anyway. The game recognized all axii no problem.

So if the quad is just a bunch of axii as well, you shouldnt have any problem using it along with your x45.
