    Audio settings explanation

In game, in the Sound Setup settings / Audio / AudioQuality, there are 3 choices:
    Default
    22050
    44100

I think mine is set to Default, which is probably one of the following settings on the list. What is the meaning of 22050 and 44100? I am trying to determine if I should over-ride Default and select one myself but I don’t know what the settings change.
    Thanks

Bit rate - effectively, frequency range/compression level. If I recall correctly, higher is better quality but demands more processing power.

Just select 44100 Hz (CD Quality) and 16 Channels. Any fairly recent computer (say 5 years) should be able to handle that. Other settings (even lower quality ones) may need more resources because of re-sampling.
