I saw a review today at Anandtech, checked the AMD site, and the downloads are available here
http://amd64andfarcry.gamedaemons.net/index.asp
I checked to see the download links, so this is not a false alarm.
If you want to read the review, it is located here

Hopefully this will stop all the "when will it be out" threads showing up :-)
Enjoy

Probably because you need a 64 bit-compatible computer, Windows XP Pro 64 bit, the Far Cry 64 bit patch, and the custom content. The FC 64 bit patch was released just today, give users some time to get this all together.
Additionally, commerical game servers are typically on Xeon processor-based systems running Windows 2K. So the hosting company would need to upgrade to Windows Server 2003 64 bit, which isn't easy or cheap to get.
About the only way you'll see FC64 servers running soon is some diligent players putting everything needed together, or Ubisoft making a strong push to get some of their game servers moved to 64 bit processor systems.
