IMHO (and if we take TCZ out of the equation cuz I'm biased according to shadowxavier) then the TAG ladder is your best bet. Ladders that allow on the spot pickup games are awesome. We played 1400 of our 2000+ matches as pickup games.

You have another squad in the server messing around. You pop in, they have half a dozen players and so do you. There's your match. It couldn't be easier.

You can no longer compare me to IGS, they are gone for the moment (Hope not for long) and Yes I know they peeked at 300, but that was before TaG was in existence, its activity was on the decline when ours peeked

I see Belial that you were wrong. I misinterpreted your post there, and for that I apologize. I'm not sure if you know the history, but whatever you think, I have never been here to start flame wars. However, I do feel I have the right to defend myself when folks like Rugg enters a thread and starts firing off one insult after the other. But, that is a state I wont lower myself down to.
So again Belial, I apologize for misinterpreting your post, should have read it better. Guess Im getting tired by the last few days of "war".
Well..good luck with TaG though. And that is not something I just say to look good. (I know I dont )I hated TaG's guts back while admining IGS, but now, it looks as a better alternative than certain other leagues around. (and then Im not talking of PGL of course)

Yeah I understand what you mean about not having Hash#'s and so on to make better bans. Cause just banning IP's pretty much takes a few minutes and at worst a couple of days to get around. I do hope that GRAW will have another solution as you mentioned also.

As for TAG, like Rugg said for pick up games it was awsome cause it only took a few minutes to set up a game and if time allowed, we were able to do several matches a day.

One thing and sry if this answer is else where, but I really like the structure of CAL and how they have play offs and finals. Will this be a feature that you will be adding to TAG?
