    It might be morale or skill related. I NEVER had problems with it before 1.2 when I had a patch that disabled all those abilities. Now, with a new career and morale skills my crew are a bunch of pansies too busy playing with their coconuts and grass skirts to tell me when we spot a ship.

    FYI.

    I have sent a compiled report of the issues and bugs that people are still experiencing in the game.

    I can't give you a firm idea of when or how this information will be used, but rest assured they have been passed on.

    E.G. I have no details of the timescale to the next patch - so please do not get upset about the lack of info over the next few days.

    I would like to thank everyone for taking the time and effort to post here, as I am sure Lisa would.

    THANKS - MR_SHADE -- NOW THAT I THINK IF IT I MAY NOT HAVE HAD THAT SITEING PROB BEFORE 1.2 PATCH EITHER. THIS IS GOING TO BE AHELL OF A GAME IN 6 MONTHS. AFTER I BOUGHT SH2 I WAS REALLY ****ED AT IT, CALLED SOME ONE AT UBI AND RANTED AND RAVED ON PHONE {POOR GUY} LOL -- ANY WAY AFTER ACPL WEEKS AND AFTER DEST COMMAND CAME OUT I LOVED IT. PLAYED THE HELL OUT OF IT, AND DEST. COMMAND. JUST HANG IN THERE AND I,M SURE SOME ONE WILL GET IT RIGHT AND THE $50 -- PHEZZZZ WHATS $50

    The game does not work, magnetic wires.
    There's no ships of neutral countries, during the campaign.
    In torpedoing ships in shallow water, they begin to behave is not adequate.
    Will corrected all these problems, in the next patch?

    Yes I concurr, and add that both F5 & F6 do work and mans, and unmans the guns, but also commands sufacing the boat and the chief calls it out too when using these keys.
    So apprently the R and these two F keys are tied in some way. Although the R(surface the boat) key works as intended and doesn't do anything with the guns.

    The shadows inside the sub look to be a lower resoloution now and grainy.
    Also shadows still show though the tower's skin from looking at from outside as if it were plastic or fiberglass.

    Woudln't the verbal feedback of "Surface the boat" be an appropriate response if you are indeed ordering crew members to man the gun AND you are submerged?

    Yes this "Surface the boat" is being triggered by both F5 & F6 while on the surface. However it doesn't do this if manning them by dialog command with the WO. Only by F5 & F6.
    I wouldn't think of ordering the gun manned while submerged, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did so if so ordered given how screwed up things are.

    Starshells dont work/happen in stock game, the only statagy that uses them is pineapple and that is # out in the cfg/aix files.

    Fix this please.

    ok a couple of other things to report. in an earlier post i said my depth under keel command wasn't functioning, it appears the problem is with a another bug where the crew stop speaking occasionaly, and as the depth dosen't read in the message log either it is impossible to get a reading. Also F5 and F6 (although they command to surface the boat) seem to work its just if the weather changes bad with the crew on the guns, you can't unman them hence my initial confusion. Burst pipes don't repair either so after being attacked you have to have them hissing away for the rest of the patrol, even after repairing all systems.
