as I approach the sub pens at low speed I seem to run aground and cant enter the pen.

Also is there a more instruction on attacking with the torpedos tracking the hit

Having not played this for quite a while, (beta testing trainz 2010).
I had the urge to kill somthing, only to find a new update (1.2).
so I updated my game and now it will not even load the first screen.
it just says windows has had a problem and SH5 has shut down, we will inform you if we find a solution.

It worked fine before!

Ps- is it just me, or did explosions look better in SH4?

Original post was back in May. I think its safe to say 1.2 was their final patch. I'm sure they are working on Silent Hunter 6. Lets leave everything the same including bugs and slap a feature or 2 in there and throw it out there for the next set of suckers to buy it up.

At the moment this game feels like a broken skeleton. I'm fine with modders fleshing it out with better UI, more ships etc. But Ubisoft needs to mend the bones.

I believe this sums it in a nutshell. I loved SH3 with GWX3.1 and hope Ubisoft will fix SH5 which has an awesome potential, for the GWX community to work on. What is happening now, its almost a year on from launch?
I still play SH3 GWX hoping SH5 will move along.
The targeting, mapping and uses one can make of the submarine in SH3GWX3.1 are perfected. Thank you modders.

When you sign in to play the game it will automatically update SH5 to 1.2

nice to know we all work for ubi. let the people do the work for us. ubi just like bill gates, let it go and lets make some money, the folks will tell us what is wrong. any chance of getting a rebate

No, the way to break the game was there right from the start. It so happens that you've just found it.

My list of issues - CTD's ( whenever, wherever in the game - my PC meets the minimum requirements). Ships i sunk respawn after loading save (i save often ). Anything else? Like probably everyone - dialogue options with crewmembers ( going through old options to get to new ones ). Thank you for your attention.
