Tony -- I like that this site automatically tracks my daily activity in game, because I don't track anything now. But let's say that I wanted to do what you are suggesting, and keep track of my outside exercise, calories consumed, etc. I don't see how there would really be much gained by adding in a system for entering/tracking my own data at this site. Because when you come down to it, this site is only tracking one number per day for me, and can't ever do more than that.

YSFE can only automatically track what goes on in-game. If you want to track more things (out-of-game exercise, then probably estimated calories consumed, etc), you will have to enter them manually, which is more data than the game would be automatically providing for you. And if you use a system developed by UbiSoft, you have only the features it provides.

So you might do better to turn this around, and find or develop (say in a spreadsheet) a tracking system that you like. Then just copy the daily calories from YSFE to your favorite tracking system. That seems more flexible, with little extra effort (you are only "losing" the automation of one number).

I use RunKeeper for this, I enter all my activities there, including YSFE activities.

You have plenty of online tracking systems already in place, just use one, RunKeeper, SportsTracker, Endomondo, SportyPal, etc...

    Use it, combine data.

When are all the bugs getting fixed? I'm deciding if I need to trade it in or not.

I absolutely love this game. I really think it would be great to see my stats online too. However everytime I play I then go to the yourshapecenter.com and they don't have the correct information. This really bums me out esp since today I did really good. I want to add my friends but don't want them to think that I only played 4 games and burnt 20 cal and quit. Who does that anyway.

Question is what am I doing wrong? Am I suppose to log in to my yourshapecenter account before I play everytime? Am I suppose to go to UPlay on the game every time before I play? I'm confused and frustrated. Someone please help me.

    Thank you.

You don't have to sign into th ewebsite before plaing YSFE. The calories you burn and the time you spend working out on a day-to-day basis should always be uploaded to YourShapeCenter.com provided you have an account on the website (you can also use your Ubi.com account...as it's the same login). I haven't had any problems with data uploading so far. I'm already up to over 8,500+ calories burned...and YourShapeCenter.com keeps track of it all.

Thank you. I was afraid of that. My friend also said she hasn't had any problems with her stats either.

There are two things I would like to see added to the game. First, I would like to see a warm-up and cool-down stretch program that you can do before and after your workout. Second, I would like to be able to utilize more than one personalized program at a time. For example, if I do one of the training programs for two days and want to do something different on the third day, I lose all progress in the original training program and have to start all over if I want to continue on the next day. Also, If I want to do two training programs in one day to extend my workout the only way to do it is update the training and I again lose progress for the next day so I can never finish a 12 day training circuit.

I downloaded the New Year, New You Workout Bundle today, but I was blocked from using it. When I went into the "Trained Classes" section, I saw that it was paid for in Xbox points (the selection showed a double dash "--" in the points needed), but the part that said "Play Now" was grayed out, as if I am not allowed to play it. Do I have to be at a particular fitness level first before I play this bundle, or is something wrong with the download?
    Thanks.

It seems that leaderboards have been discussed a time or two (based on a quick search), but I couldn't see anything specific to my question (apologies if I have indeed missed something):

Are the people at the top of the boards devs, 'fake' or real people?

The calorie scores seem to be incredibly high for a game that launched on November 4th of last year.

The global leader, boonyow has 52,255 calories to date. Assuming he bought the game on the day of release and worked out every day, that's 637 calories per day. Not impossible, but a tough rate of calorie burn to maintain.

Furthermore, there are users listed with identical names (gamertags), but in different countries and with different calorie scores. What gives?

If these people are indeed real and have achieved these scores, I would encourage Ubi to post something about them on the 'site. Which workouts are these people doing and how often? What have they achieved in terms of weight loss and/or fitness improvements?

As a side note, I would love to be able to see the users around my current score. Being able to see only the top 50 is cool, but how hard is it to see 'everyone'? The ability to see your local score neighborhood would offer encouragement in terms of competition because I can actually see myself climbing the ranks as my calorie score increases. Maybe also a note on your dashboard that tells you how many places you've climbed the leaderboards based on your last session. Encouragement and goals are key to success!
