Now I was in a real jamb.

"Lt. Holden," I whispered under my breath, "Get Captain Yu-luk-Sad, and the rest of his crew up on the forcastle. Give em some push-ups and deep knee bends or something to do".

Lt. Holden, who just happened was a Mongolian food delivery boy before the war, spoke fluent Mongolian to the crew and they ambled up to the bow.

Grabbing the knife from the cook, S1C Ronald McDonaldson, I charged back to the engine room.

    There in the shadows I........

saw the strangest thing; other than two drunken goats on a treadmill hooked up to the prop shaft of their ship, if you can believe that!! I saw a reindeer with a bright red nose. Its a wonder that it wasn't spotted sooner, especially with that red nose. The reindeer was shaking like a leaf in a tornado, i couldn't bring myself to carve it up, so instead i ......

threw it over my shoulder, climbed up to the fantail, and tossed it overboard.

"Start swimming!" I yelled as I pointed north.

I turned to head back down for the goats but Commander Bragg was standing there, blocking the hatchway.

    He said..........

why did you throw that reindeer over board. That could have been more meat for the crew. I told him we have 2 drunken goats below to carve up for meat.

Just then a plane was spotted on the horizon, it was heading right for us. The Skipper, who was now feeling the effects of the goat feed, yelled....

"I think that is one of ours". It was a seaplane. It landed on the water and pulled along side us. Captain Yu-luk-Sad, and the rest of his crew climbed aboard the plane. As the plane was leaving you could hear the pilot yell, "It was nice of you to have that red light shinning near your boat, it made you so much easier to spot." As the plane took off with the Mongolian crew the Skipper turned and said ....

So know Cooky is doing up the Turkeys, the pottaoes wre being coked and mixed with goats milk. A few cans of corn were found rolling around in the aft bilge... No wonder the Jap's tracked us so easily. Turkey dinner was on the agenda, gazing to the north wat to my wondering eyes did appear........

"What is our position?" I screamed at Ensign Crosseye...

After fumbling with his compass, chart, pencil, protractor, and a glance at his horoscope, the navigator confirmed we were about 100 miles from truck......er....Truk.
I raced back up to the bridge and the small vessel was crossing close astern, headed west.
Through the binoculars what I saw was a brunette in a straw hat and Daisy Duke shorts and sunning on the prow was a red-head..

Hmmmmmmmmm.....I looked at Lt. Holden and gave the order to.........
