I don't care what other people think it might mean, that is what www.dictionary.com says it means, so that's what I'm going with.
...Come on. IRL, I'm not that popular either, but seriously, I manage, I get along. It doesn't affect my life that much. And honestly? I have my own friends. That's all that matters, right? I'd rather have my own small group of friends that really are my friends rather than a hundred so called "friends" who happen to be really popular. I'm not saying that anyone is not my real friend. One of the reasons I never accept requests is because I need to know someone before I friend them. I'm not going to go running around accepting random people's requests.
...I just realized all of this. Why should I be sitting around complaining about unpopularity when I have my friends to hang out with?

First of all, I don't like it when people are rude to themselves, blaming diamond members, and such. Second of all, those of you doing that, it isn't going to help you! People say they are leaving, to get more popular. But on the other side of that computer screen, someone is mad at you for doing it constantly. Remember, this isn't a popularity contest!
