No offense to the people I metion and Ill try not to point anyone out but if a member has a magazine then over 3000 views are made.if a non member makes a clothing line then in one day it will be to the end of the hangout zone and soon deleted since it ain't bein used, I'm not pointing out to ANYONE I'm just tellin people who judge others and j know u aren't meaning to do itthat was long!and sad...especially for me.????????????????????I don't feel this

popularity is the least imporance in our lives.
but it does make ppl happy when they see comments about them or theeir work.
so if you have posts with not much comments, dont cry...
go on and make someone elses day by giving them commentsthats what i do. i really dotn like to see ppl upset

Well it is a true statement(Mikaela, it's not Nic's fault, it's just the way you perceive what she is saying). A lot of threads are passed over because you don't know that person or have ever heard of them. But, why do we do that?
Don't we make the threads that have stories, contest, and etc. to get noticed & more popularity? I even know someone on here (who I will not name), who even pretends to be their own biggest fan/role model, she make fake accounts and goes around supporting everything her main account said. But why? It's probably just to be sure she stays in the spotlight.
One misconception I want to point out: Like Dani said, some people don't even have time to look through every single thread for a certain thing or to keep up with the news in imagine town(I'm one of those people). Also, think about it... What threads will you see first? The one recently posted on. I pretty sure most people here will not bother to search through to find old threads unless they were really intrigued by the conversation.
But, aren't we judged in the world by other things? Like race and gender? Only on here it's popularity, who you're friends with, and what you've done for that person.

I think Nicole didn't mean it this way.
I think she was saying that you need to look at someone's post no matter who they are or how popular they are. She is not saying that if you don't have barely any fews on posts doesn't mean you're not popular! She's just saying most of us are judged on popularity and it needs to stop. She's saying let everyone have a chance in the limelight. And she is not saying they look at your posts just because you're popular. And you definatly don't need to look and comment on every single thread you see. She's saying you need to give everyone a chance. Imagine Town is not a popularity contest so it never should end up like one.

To be honest, though, I really don't care TOO much if no one comments on my story. I made it for me, and the only reason I haven't deleted it yet is because I don't want to give up, and deleting it would basically mean giving up, and I don't want to do that. Even if no one comments on it, well, fine. They obviously have some kind of reason, so I'll work on it until it's absolutely perfect. Anyone who doesn't comment on it is helping me. I don't know. I honestly think the forum could be even more specific, though. Like, a whole section for stories, and another one for fan art, one for questions, one for help on technical difficulties, one for suggestions. I like the suggestion box we had before a lot, because it was all in one thread. And for contests, it's the same issue, no one is really reading anyone else's work. It's all just the same thing; All we want to do is enter and win. But it's not all about that. I try to tell people who enter something good about their entry, but I don't do it for everyone, and it hurts to think that I just complimented someone and meanwhile, someone else is wishing that someone would compliment their own stories.
