Are you using and Saitek X-52...

I'm asking because some X-52 have a problem with the "magic mouse" driver that they use... This is what drives the mini mouse stick on the throttle...

For some reason after a while the windows mouse driver and the Saitek driver "fight" for control over you device... This result in mouse drift... On my system the mouse allways when to the top right hand corner... you had to "fight" the drift in order to "click" anything (in game as in windows)

To fix this it is recomanded to go in your device manager and desable the "magic mouse". You wont be able to use the mini mouse stick on your X-52 but this will stop this from happennig...

I think it is just reckless and irresponsible to take an obvious hardware problem and assume off the bat that it "may" be a cheat. To see something like that and even have the balls to bring it up on the forum BEFORE you do any troubleshooting is just plain paranoid! From what I've read you thought cheat before you thought, wow, there's something wrong with my mouse. That is paranoia, and does not need to add fuel to the already out of control fire that's been going on in this community. My 2 cents.

If there is a buffer overflow bug in the game, such an attack could be possible, HOWEVER, since players are ONLY connected to the server and NOT each other, there would be no need to hack YOUR game to attack another player's game. You could make use of such a bug by hacking the SERVER code but it would be easier to write an application to send malformed network packets that looked like they came from the server (spoofing). Since the IP number of every player is available to every other player, finding victims is easy (assuming there is a buffer overflow bug in the game).

Like others, I think this is a hardware problem and nothing more.

Talking about recklessness and irresponsibility, I think you need to ask yourself, who started the fire in the first place in the middle of a fuel depot

    I agree here.

That`s like instantly assuming a house is on fire when someone`s only lit a match.

Next time, look at all the most common sense, simple reasons first, ie, your PC on and offline. Once all aspects of your PC software and hardware are found innocent, ask online by searching on similar faults, then and only then mention that you think you might have a possible IL2 cheat problem.

Accusations like that could lead to all sorts of chaos if it catches. Fortunately, in this case, it didn`t, but it was close.

I see where you're coming from but that's really akin to saying just cause some a-hole invented the gun that it's okay to assume everyone is trying to shoot you, lol.
