I think the fact that Assassin's Creed 2's pc version was released almost four months after the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions also contributes to rank 17.

That was just too long. Many PC users already played the game on consoles as they wouldn't wait. Well, at least they put all the downloadable content into it for which console users had to pay.

The game is great btw , liked the first one too

    Scrabble 2009 FTW

Butt kick graphics. Gonna have to get me one of those quad core cpus and a second SLI graphics card to play it on full details

Lol, i'd imagine it's easier in German, all those long words and 'Z' should mean it's much easier to get a triple word score

WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU SGR_WILSON?

That digital distribution is still in its infancy? A game like Silent Hunter V appeals to less steam game players? SH5 owners are somewhere else at the moment?

What are you trying to conclude with your statement?

It's really not. Steam gets a very large number of sales.
Aswell as that. If you follow the sales charts on other retailers you'll see the chart are fairly similar.
And although SH5 may not be comparable with Bad company 2. If it wasn't for DRM you could be AC2 would be up there with bad company 2. No question.

Just take a look at play.com selling disc copys and it's a massive retailer.
Assassins Creed 2 doing a lowly 17th place. Should be top 5 easy.
Silent hunter 5. 27th. Should be top 10 easy.

Both being beaten by Scrabble, the 2009 edition

DRM at Ubisoft is killing there PC games and

Here's a better measure of how well it's doing....

    Linky

You will notice that SH V is at the bottom of that list Behind SH IV gold and UBM both.
    What could be causing that?
