I had to shift my jaw off the keyboard.

Wow. I just hope the reimagination fits or exceeds the expectations of the fans. It'll be a bittersweet experience if they don't handle it right.

    Thanks for posting!

But what say you? Will you be making the trek to see this sci-fi saga"”or would you rather sit through a marathon of William Shatner's Priceline commercials? Comment away
Actually some of his Priceline commercials are good for a quick laugh, IMO. Or maybe that's just me...

Isn't the Kirk to young to be a captain on such a ship?

I'm looking forward to the new movie, and to be honest I think Star Trek needs the fresh take. I'm still not totally sold on the whole prequel idea, but I'll reserve judgment either way for when I actually see the whole film.

Only 1% is left to the imagination, but that's 1% too much!

    Tiberius....

    How bad azzed is that...

The other day I saw a couple of the movies again, and without hesitation I still feel W. Shatner's acting/performance saying a couple lines is some of the best i've seen.

The first being in Wrath of Kahn, when he's giving Spock's eulogy and stumbles on the word "human".....The second being in Generations, his death scene. So simple, and though clearly surprised it almost hints to me he is simply beginning another adventure. That line being "oh my".

    Good stuff...

This new "Kirk" has a lot of work to try and follow.

I'll probably go see it when it comes out. I usually wait for the reviews to come in on a new movie and then determine whether it's a theater viewing or a DVD viewing for me.

As for Rachel Nichols....meh, I've had better.
