I'm currently reading 'Station X', a short book on Bletchley, full of interesting and funny (and serious) anecdotes of that time. I hope they preserve it as Brit museums are really good places to visit.

Well, I went to the 'contact us' section and sent this...
I would like to object to not being able to sign the preservation of Bletchley Park petition. Not being a UK citizen (but EU) and living on South Africa, I (and many others) have a keen interest on this, and many other historical events of that time.

Having visited many excellent museums in London and the UK, I sincerely wish to see that Bletchley is preserved.

I agree with the "tankards of beer" bit (although my favourite tipple is the yard of ale), but as for walking...we have millions of buses to keep that to a minimum.

This is indeed sad new,I am American,if I was British I would sign the petition,I did send it to a friend who lives in Houghton LE Springs,I know he will sign it.
I don't care in what country it is in,all the world should help preserve such a landmark, since it helped bring piece to the world, and no one worked harder for the war effort than the fine people who worked there..
