ok lads...some know me some knoooooooooow me and some dont!
I dunno about you guys but i'm getting pretty fed up with peeps crying cheat....and i mean noobs and old players alike! The noobs have an excuse as they read something 1 of the old school FC players rights and then it sends waves and hearsay!
Me i just got myself a new pc...and it rocks...now i have fallen into the category of...oh he must be cheating he's got over 40 kills..lmao! It was ok when old porks was playing on his 5 year old pc and his 64 graphic card...killin maybe 20 and gettin pwned but now he's not as easy to kill and getting kills i must be cheating!
I'm getting sick of this to be honest...any1 who knows me and my clan know it would not happen! we have 1 lad who when he plays ubi server...gets minimum of 60 kills..so he's a cheat aswell! I play the ubi servers mainly when they are the only servers with players on at night or daytime...normally i would play my own clan server (where there are no gl or rl allowed)...agaisnt other clans...where i do not so high a kill rate!
So all i wanna say...you older FC players..stop posting on the forums and flaming people..it dont do no good for he newer FC players.
and you newer guys...just cos your getting pwned and some1 has a high kill rate it doesnt mean they are cheats (we all got and still get pwned) maybe next time u wanna use some cover..trees rocks etc instead of running head on in the open at some1....Do what i do...get killed respawn go out kill some1..get killed again!..its a game and if ya in it and moaning then u obviously aint having FUN..which is what it is about!

if some1 does something unbelieable spectate them or as i used to i asked them and u know what i learnt loads from peeps by asking and not accusing, cos u will usually find that they will show you what they do.
and the only time i take my tags off is when i cant be bothered to talk to any1....all the times i have been accused i have been wearing my TAGS!

And yes, its really frustating to being called cheaters on public, generally i never answer cause its useless...
Btw, its like all the clans which refuse to play match without PB, PB only cause lag and packetlost(etc..) kicks. this anticheat is useless, quake4 pb has been hacked in 10mn.
Cod2 has been released without anticheat cause all the ac existing are useless, so plz, lets hav fun and play with pb switch off. Ok, public server need pb cause its easy to any noob to find an old cheat on google, but pb will never stop haxor so...

I found the bigger difference was how much I sucked trying to play on my laptop for the 1st time in months last week! How I ever played on my old rigs I dont know
Seriously; yours is a good post, the debate on cheating is still welcome here, but as Coops says, any accusations will now get firmly moderated
I have seen the debates raging elsewhere, I have also seen stuff with my own eyes. The PB on clan servers offers a degree of protection but I have my doubts about what checks the UBI ones have been running of late...
The key thing you say is for people to learn the game b4 you call others cheats.
Did the guy just use a skill or trick you are unaware of? Are they exposing an in game glitch (spits)? or are they really doing things that should not be possible in the game?
If you do choose to call someone a cheat;
1. Dont do it here...
2. You had better be right!
@Elpopo, sorry m8 totally disagree. Yes it causes kicks, and at the moment has taken a serious dislike to me, but it doesnt cause lag (not compared to the dodgy netcode) and it does stop cheats, including the latest unstoppable one...
As has been shown by many trusted then busted clan players, it is the best method we have by which state that a player is clean...
To suggest to new players that PB servers are a bad thing is not right imho...

I agree again,there have been plenty of clan members that I never thought were cheating that pb has busted.
I sometimes mess with someone on a server but always let them know I am.first I might get them going but always at the end let them know I am kidding.
Only 2 times have I seriously said someone was cheating and then a couple weeks later they were busted.
I have been accused of cheating plenty of times,sometimes I have a good game,there are times I have my head in my a**.
so no matter what u cant win.
just as we all say.take it as a compliment.

Cuz, a guy playing mp for the 1st time will be a little desapointed cause of pb kick too :s But i'm agree, public server need pb. But i was talking about war, how many matches hav been win or lost cause of pb ? U can believe, i ve played an huge amount of wars, and even if i hav to admit pb helped us to win some matches, i still prefer to play without it, and yes, a server without pb is less laggy.
A cheater playing in a clan is enuf smart to use pbproof cheats (*cough* Steiner *cough*).
btw, im not a parano and i think 99.9% of CB clan players are clean. (except Porky^^) thats also why switch pb on in a clan war seems to me a real pity.
btw bis, i slowly stop fc to cod2 (lots of players, clans, no lag,...omg) so u ll see me less even if i ll continue to go pwned some guys on server ^^

popo, I can understand your point wrt to a clan match.
However, if all clans had PB on and streaming for normal gaming and match warm ups, I still believe that it would reduce the risk of someone taking advantage should you switch PB off for the war itself...
Its all about risk reduction...
Like i said earlier, it isnt fool proof, and as you said there will always be a way around it, but as patch 1.33 and subsequently PB latest update have shown, each door they open can, and will be closed...
And if you all run PB you can catch the cheats while they still think they are undetectable...
That always makes me smile...
