No. Not hard to figure out. Just put the proper skin in the PaintSchemes\Skins folder under the proper plane folder. Then in-game pick the skin you want. Click on the arming\aircraft customization screen to pick the skin you want to choose.

Well if you come to The AFSG website, all of our downloads (including the skins) use auto installers. So all you have to do is click a couple of buttons and the skins, etc., are installed in the proper folders for you (providing you installed your game in the default location on your C drive).

If you don't like browsing the folders to copy a skin to the right place, take a look at http://www.skinnersheaven.com
There you will find the Skin manager.
It will really help. Since you just open a ZIP-file and select the aircraft the skin is for and click install. It cannot be easier.
Well.. ehm... it can be easier.... All skins you find at Skinners Heaven, and also that of some other skinners like CanonUK and Hammerd come in a ZIP-file that allready gives the Skin manager for which aircraft the skins are meant. In that case it is only opening the ZIP-file and click Install.

Look at the site to download it and also to find some tutorials on how it works.

    Sooty's skins

Guys in the intrest of keeping this thread as trim and too the point as possible I am going to delete any posts that do not have links in them so dont take it personally.

I will sticky this for a week.. I suggest you all put it in your favorites as we dont want the stickies to fill the page. It is also in the place of the IL2 skins link in the Essentials thread.. so if you bookmark that you will have it along with the other goodies in one link.
