I was thinking of getting it, but there are already plenty of planes like it in IL2 that have the same characteristics.

On the other hand, I did buy the Captain Sim C-130 and the F-104 recently, which are both gorgeous, intricately detailed, and a hoot to fly.

The F-104 is without a doubt the toughest plane to land I've ever tried.

It is amusing but, compared to IL-2 COMPLETE---forget it. It has Microsoft's dreary flight model which is a big strike against it, and you can't blow anything to eternity---I just can't get much of a rush treating a nasty warplane like the 219 like a Piper Cub for an afternoon joyride. Add to the above, no flourescent dials on the instruments so you can't see a blasted thing when flying blacked out at night. A real immersion killer, to say the least. Having written all of the above, it is interesting---I fly it sometimes. Best to fly at night through heavy clouds and make runs on aghast civil aircraft. P.S. They flubbed the retractable armor---it was solid steel, not clear glass.
